The YARROWS FERDIE RUGBY club is an initiative designed to give both registered junior rugby players and children who do not play rugby in Taranaki the opportunity to be a part of Taranaki Rugby and also an opportunity to get to know the TenderLink Taranaki ANZC Team.

The Taranaki Rugby Football Union recognises that rugby at the grassroots level is vital to the game, so it is extremely important that we look after players and supporters at that level. We asked the question, ‘how can we look after our junior players and supporters and what can we do to get them more involved with rugby in Taranaki’? The answer, the Yarrows Ferdie Rugby Club!

The Yarrows Ferdie Rugby club is a club that children can belong to and be part of. Members get the chance to meet the players and really get involved in supporting the TenderLink Taranaki ANZC team. Opportunities such as this will hopefully inspire kids to play the game and in the future aspire them to become a member of the ANZC team.

What will you get if you become a member?

• Password access to the Yarrows Ferdie Rugby Competitions section of the website. 
  
• The opportunity to attend TenderLink Taranaki captains runs and meet the team afterwards.
  
• 2009 TenderLink Taranaki Team Poster which you can collect at the first captains run. 
  
• Entry into the draw to lead the Air New Zealand Cup team out onto Yarrow Stadium and sit on the bench for the entire game.
